The short answer is yes! You should trial at least 2 weeks ahead of your bridal day tan so that the trial has enough time to exfoliate off to receive a fresh one. If you would trial with your hair and makeup vendor then you should definitely trial for an all over body treatment that will alter your appearance. Everyone reacts differently to the solutions and so you want to be sure that you love the result. We recommend using your bridal shower or bachelorette party as an excuse to get a trial tan.
The perfect day to us is 2 days (Thursday for a Saturday wedding). However, this is why a trial is so important. The tan may be a bit too vibrant for your liking and your perfect day may be day 3 post tan. 2-3 days in advance is typically the sweet spot.
We think so! If you and your partner's natural color is similar to begin with, it looks best in pictures if you both receive a spray tan. We see this all the time where a bride sends us wedding pictures and her tan looks amazing and the groom looks a bit too pale. It's becoming more and more common and we highly recommend it!
No it won't because you will have had a few showers between the application and wearing the dress. Your skin will be tan so if there's sweat and friction and some of your dead skin cells exfoliate off on the inside of the dress that touches your body it will be more brown as opposed to when they aren't tan they are gray. However, you will not be dripping brown sweat on the dance floor.
Generally your tan will begin to fade in 5-10 days and you can have color for up to 2 weeks. This can very from person to person depending on your skin type, proper after care, and activity level.
